Grainger executives named in poll of most influential people in residential property
Grainger plc, the UK’s largest listed residential landlord, is pleased to announce that Chief Executive Andrew Cunningham has been voted the third most influential person in the UK residential property sector in the RESI 100 survey, conducted by Property Week. Executive Property Director Nick Jopling was also named in the poll, in thirty-seventh place. The results of the poll are a strong recognition by the real estate industry of the contribution both Andrew and Nick make to the sector.
The poll noted the scale of Grainger’s residential holdings, with approximately £2.4bn of directly owned properties and £3.1bn of assets under management, and gave Andrew Cunningham credit for his work in campaigning for a more professionally managed private rented sector – much of which was addressed in the most recent budget. It concluded that this “bodes well for Cunningham in Grainger’s centenary year in 2012”.
Nick Jopling joined Grainger plc as Executive Property Director in September 2010, and his recognition in the poll goes to underline the strength of his reputation in the industry and the value he brings to the Company.
