4 Wellbeing Pillars

Our Wellbeing Strategy is a core component of our People Strategy and we recognise that wellbeing is a combination of the following 4 Pillars: mental wellbeing, physical wellbeing,  financial wellbeing and social wellbeing.

The Grainger wellbeing strategy is to enhance the health and wellbeing of our people by supporting the promotion of healthier lifestyles and general wellbeing, with both preventative and pro-active support, while also encouraging colleagues to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.

Pillar 1 - Physical wellbeing
  • Our colleagues have access to the Help@hand app which offers a remote GP service, second opinion consultations, mental health support and physiotherapy.
  • Member of Carers UK to provide support and guidance to our colleagues
  • We have trained Mental health champions across the business
  • Employees have access to Unum lifeworks providing 24-hour counselling support
  • Cyclescheme: Cycling provides our colleagues with freedom, flexibility, affordability, increased health and fitness, all whilst benefitting from tax and national insurance contributions savings as this benefit is offered through salary sacrifice.
